Our History
Schooler Funeral Home is not to be confused with Schooler-Gordon, owned by Service Corporation International (SCI) of Houston, Texas. Schooler Funeral Home is locally owned and operated by Jim Schooler, son of Maurice and Mary Schooler. Jim has more than 24 years of combined funeral director and funeral home management experience. Mary Schooler is also an active member of our staff at Schooler Funeral Home.
Our very courteous and accommodating staff members believe in treating your family the way we would want our families to be treated. While visiting at our "home," each individual family automatically becomes a part of "our family".
Schooler Funeral Home is very different from the average funeral home. You are always welcome to come tour our facility and see for yourself the many special touches that make our "home" unique among the other funeral homes in Amarillo. We offer a warm, home-like atmosphere to ensure families feel more comfortable and nurtured than they might expect.
