Charles Millard Bogard

Charles Millard Bogard, 87, of Amarillo, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2017.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 18, 2017 in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia Street.
Charles was born on May 10, 1929 in Clarendon, Texas to Neal and Lottie Bogard. He graduated from West Texas State University. He married Maidel Pruit Bogard on September 1, 1956. Charles was a teacher for Amarillo Independent School District. He and his wife also owned and operated a real estate investment company. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by his son, Charles Clay Bogard in 1973; his parents, Neal Bogard and Lottie Bogard; his wife Maidel Bogard; one brother, Bill Bogard; and one sister, Dorothy Knorp.
Survivors include a son Shalor Bogard and wife Carrie, of Arlington, TX; two daughters, Sann Bogard Lindemann and husband Tim of Danville, Pennsylvania and Page Bogard of Amarillo; and three grandchildren, Logan Lindemann of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Caitlin Bogard of New York City, NY, and Madison Lindemann of Phoenix, AZ.
A visitation will be held Friday, March 17, 2017 from 6:00 – 7:00 PM at Schooler Funeral Home.
