Alicia’a most important job in life was that of wife, mother and grandmother. She treasured her children, grandchildren and grandchildren and loved to spend time with them. She loved to read, cook for her family and she passed many important traditions to her children that will always be cherished. The love for her family was unending. She was the fiercest defender yet kindest critic. Alicia enjoyed gardening and watching football with her daughter Rosie when the family would get together. Life’s trials made her one of the strongest women we knew. She persevered with unceasing optimism and a smile on her face. Alicia was a dearly beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Rosa “Rosie” Maria Ramonez; son, Michael A. Juarez; mother, Francisca Dorado; and father, Jose Dorado.

Alicia is survived by her husband of 43 years, Juan Ramonez, Sr.; daughters, Christina and Sofia Ramonez; sons, Jesse and Juan Ramonez, II; brothers, Antonio Dorado and wife, Lupe and Armando Dorado and wife, Letty; sisters, Gloria Miller, Grace Stringer, Martha Pena and husband, Frank and Anita Bellinger and husband, Tom; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and her pets, Snowy, Kodee and Deoggy.
