Arnulfo Gallego-Felix

Arnulfo Gallego, beloved husband, fiance, dad, and grandpa,  54 of Amarillo was called home to be with our Lord December 3, 2023.

Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 29, 2023 at St. Mary's Cathedral, 1200 S. Washington,  with Father Anthony Neusch as Celebrant.

Arnulfo was born December 29th, 1968 in Sonora, Mexico to Trinidad Gallego and Maria Felix. He later married Socorro Loya June 18, 1988 and was married for 31 years. He was recently engaged to Yadira Velarde of Mexico.

He was a Truck Driver for 20+ years. He was known for being bighearted, a jokester, and always giving to those who needed help. He was known by his daughters for being stubborn and hardheaded but he did everything with love in his heart. He was a wonderful grandpa and his grandkids made his life whole again after the loss of his wife.

He is preceded in death by his late wife Socorro Gallego and his mother Maria Felix.

Those to carry on his legacy include 2 Daughters Melissa and husband Dakota Hernandez, of Amarillo, Julissa and husband Francisco Velarde, of Amarillo, Grandchildren Collete Hernandez, Noel and Agustin Velarde, 7 brothers- Jesus Ortiz, Marcos Ortiz, Horacio Ortiz, Cuauhtemoc Ortiz, Pedro Ortiz, Enrique Gallego, Arturo Gallego, of Mexico, 2 sisters- Silvia Ortiz, Lupita Gallego, of Mexico.
