Despite facing significant medical challenges, she brought immeasurable joy and love into everyone’s lives. Her beautiful smile and sparkling eyes could brighten the darkest days, and her strength was an inspiration to all. Ava underwent multiple heart surgeries and eventually a heart transplant: proof of her incredible resilience. Though her time with us was far too short, Ava’s legacy of bravery and love will continue to inspire all who knew her.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the donor family whose selfless gift provided Ava the opportunity to experience life. Their generosity and compassion will never be forgotten. We would also like to express our deepest appreciation to the dedicated doctors, nurses, and medical staff at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. Their exceptional care, kindness and support gave us hope and comfort throughout her challenging battle.
