Betty Jean Tiffee

Betty Tiffee, 92, passed away peacefully with family on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, in Greenville, TX. She was born on October 4, 1932, in Hale Center, TX.

Betty married AB Tiffee, Jr. on January 31, 1953. They celebrated 61 years together. They were faithful members of Temple Baptist Church in Amarillo until his death in 2014 and her move to Greenville in 2022.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Sug and Lola Williams; her husband, AB Tiffee, Jr.; her two children, Pamela Kathleen and AB Tiffee III; and her brothers and sisters, Tody, Sally, Jack, Geraldine, Bob, Nell, Nita, and Carolyn. She is survived by her sister, Tootsie (Johnny) Kimberling of Amarillo; daughter-in-law, Carol Tiffee King; grandson, AB Tiffee IV and his wife, Elisa, of Farmersville; and her three great-grandchildren, Landon (fiancé Anna) of Plano, Spencer of Corpus Christi, and Alexis of Farmersville. Betty was very proud of Landon achieving his doctorate in physical therapy, Spencer becoming a pilot, and Alexis studying to be a veterinarian. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Our family wishes to thank Anew Hospice and its staff, especially Jenny, for the wonderful care provided at the end of Betty’s days.
