Brenda Gayle Fox. 65 of Bedford, TX died Thursday, April 7, 2022.
A Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Hillside Christian Church West, 6100 Soncy with Pastor Bob Schroeder as officiant and lifelong friend, Chuck Ferrell as eulogist. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.
Ms. Fox was born on December 8, 1956 in Amarillo to L.V. and Louise Thomas. She attended Palo Duro High School. She began her career as a loan officer in 1982 at Santa Fe Federal Credit Union. In 1988, she moved to Albuquerque, NM where she established a branch of the credit union and served as the 1st branch manager until 1999. She then returned to Amarillo as Senior Vice President in which she continued until 2012 when she retired after 30 years of loyal service. In 2013, she moved to Fort Worth, TX with her daughter, Cameisha. She pursued a new path with Scott’s Landing Marina at Lake Grapevine as the office manager/event coordinator where she was truly in her element and able to express her creativity.
She was an amazing mother, sister, friend and a devoted Aunt B. She loved unconditionally with her whole heart and soul. She was the most unselfish woman who put everyone and everything above her own needs and wants.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Charlene Flow; brothers, L.V. Thomas Jr. and Tony Thomas; nephew, Heath Wright; and special friend, Bobby Dale Johnson.
Survivors include her daughter, Cameisha Fox and her partner Tiffanie Brawley of Bedford, TX; sister, Melba Glass and husband Dennis of Amarillo, TX; granddaughter, Victorea Brawley of Amarillo, TX; several nieces and nephews; lifelong friend, Becky Waller and husband Steve of Fort Worth, TX; and close family friend, Tammy McNair and her son, Les of Amarillo, TX.
