Candelaria “Candie” (Dockweiler) Tackitt, 92, of Amarillo passed peacefully into the glory of the Father on Tuesday, December 7, 2021.

No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are in the care of Schooler Funeral Home of Amarillo.

Candie Tackitt was born on October 12, 1929 in Penasco, New Mexico to Albert and Prudencia Dockweiler.

Candie is preceded in death by her parents, two infant brothers, brothers Jean and his wife Virginia Dockweiler and Jose Dockweiler, sister Louisa and husband Florencio Griego; brother in law Alberto Miera and special niece Belinda South.

Those left to cherish her memories are sons Bernie and wife DeeAnn Tackitt, son Tony and wife Lisa Tackitt; grandchildren Michael, Leah, Joe and Ian, and great-grandchildren Ben, Patrick, and Daniel.
