Carla Sue Brooks

Carla Sue Brooks, 66, of Amarillo died December 12, 2020.

Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.

Carla Sue Brooks was born November 14, 1954, in Borger, TX to Harry Donald Lewis and Betty Jo Spinks Lewis. She was married to Gary Dennison Brooks on July 24, 1971. She was a loving mother to their three children Christal, Stephanie, and John. Carla worked nearly 20 years as a home health attendant, caring for disabled adults, for Outreach Home Health Services. Carla loved her clients and did everything she could to help them have a better life.

Carla is preceded in death by both her parents Harry and Betty and two step dads, Earl Lewis and Kenneth Black.

She is survived by her husband Gary, daughters Christal Parrish (Gordon), Stephanie Sanchez (Cezar), and son John. She is also survived by her brother Donald Lewis, sister Debra Long, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, numerous nieces and a nephew.
