Chloe Anne Walker, age 29, of Amarillo, was called back to her heavenly home on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024.
The family invites you to a viewing and visitation on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.
A memorial gathering to celebrate Chloe will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2024, from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at 12700 Wildhorse Trail in Amarillo, and another one will be held in her hometown of Moody, Texas, on Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the Methodist Activity Center, 301 Eighth Street in Moody
Chloe was born in Waco, Texas, to her parents, Marion Dewayne and Tracy Rebecca Sowers, on April 2, 1994.
The day before her birth, Tracy had told her family that baby Chloe was coming, but no one believed her because it was April Fool’s Day, and they thought she was joking!
Chloe was born a fiery redhead and lived up to the stereotype! She was opinionated, stubborn, and fierce. She graduated from Moody High School in 2012.
With her contagious laughter and red hair, she enchanted everyone she met, including a young man named Bryce. Their families met when the kids were about twelve, camping together.
Chloe and Bryce grew up together, beginning as friends, but they knew they were destined to be husband and wife. On October 10, 2016, the couple got married in Randall County. Chloe naturally fit into the Walker Family and added a beautiful light and love to the family.
As young girl Chloe knew she wanted to do these things, be an exceptional wife and mother and to be a great shopper, she excelled at it all! Her world changed with the birth of their first child. She adored being a mother, and soon, the family grew to include two more children. Chloe could be described best as a domestic goddess! Her family was her passion, and she loved them fiercely.
Chloe never lost her funny, witty personality throughout her eighteen-month battle. She fought valiantly and loved hard. Yes, she became a little discouraged that the good Lord didn’t see fit to heal her earthly body, but she never lost sight of the fact that she and her precious family rested in the palm of His hand.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Willie Goodwin.
Chloe’s memory and love will be forever cherished by those she left behind: her husband Bryce Aaron; three precious children, Darci Lou, Heidi Rae and Rhett Dean; her father, Dewayne Sowers of Fairfield, Texas and her mother, Tracy Sowers of Moody, Texas; her two sisters, Carlee Hogan and her husband Tyler of Belton, Texas and Madelynn “Maddie” Sowers of Waco, Texas; her grandmothers, Dianne Kane Sowers of Fairfield, Texas and Karen Goodwin of Moody, Texas; and her uncle Jeffrey Goodwin and his wife Jamie of China Spring, Texas; her parents-in-love Royce and Tera Walker of Amarillo, Texas; her sister-in-love, Sarah Defries and her husband Dustin of Amarillo; her brother-in-love Jacob Walker and his wife Crystal of Amarillo; and many other loving family members and friends.
