Obituary

Chris Warren, 79, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on July 26, 2026, following a short but difficult battle with lung cancer.

Chris was born on July 19, 1947. He shared 56 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Barbara, building a life centered on love, laughter, and family.

Together they raised two sons, Adam and Mark, and welcomed daughters-in-law, Amy and Stephanie, who became cherished members of the family. One of Chris's greatest joys was being "Pepa" to his four grandchildren, Ian, Caroline, Zoe, and Felix, each of whom held a special place in his heart.

Chris will be remembered for the quiet generosity he extended to those around him, the unwavering love he showed his family, and the mischievous sense of humor that could brighten any room. He was a gifted woodworker whose talent and artistry transformed simple pieces of wood into lasting treasures. Whether crafting something by hand or sharing a laugh with those he loved, Chris left a lasting impression through his kindness, creativity, and gentle spirit.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Treeline Pass - https://www.coloradogives.org/organization/treelinepass , an organization founded in honor of Chris's granddaughter and her peers with developmental disabilities. Chris cared deeply about their well-being, and gifts made in his memory will help continue that meaningful work.
