Claudette Allen, 79, of Amarillo passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2021.

Viewing will be 9:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St, Amarillo, Texas 79110. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Amarillo, Texas.  Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.

Claudette was born October 8, 1941 in Louisville, Kentucky to her parents, Archabald Moore and Magdalene Hall.  In 1983, she married Charles Alferd Allen in Dallas, Texas.  Claudette was a photo processor and waitress. She enjoyed collecting frogs, spending time with her grandchildren and her family.

She is preceded in death by her father: Archabald Moore; her mother: Magdalene Hall and step-father: Jack Hall; her brothers: June Hall and Sheryl Morris.

Claudette is survived by her husband: Charles Alferd Allen; son: Samuel Lee Smith his Wife Kyleen , hid step son: Joe Allen, step-daughter: Janie Sutherland;  sisters: Theresa Shriner and Darlene Hellwig; grandchildren: Claudette Smith, Kaye Smith, Tabitha Smith, Christina Kearns, Ashton Smith and Brayden Smith;  numerous great- grandchildren and numerous great great- grandchildren.
