Claudia Ann Dick, 79, of Amarillo, passed peacefully on November 18, 2023.
A celebration of Claudia's life will be held on Friday, November 24, 2023, at 10 a.m. in the Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia.
Claudia Dick was born December 31, 1943 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to James “Jim” and Myrle Duncan. Claudia married the love of her life Paul Dick on October 19, 1962 where they were avid golfers traveling across the country to play their favorite golf course. They also played music together as a hobby. Claudia retried as a Vice President of a Savings and Loan and later helped Paul open a small business. Claudia loved to paint and play her banjo. Claudia’s grandsons affectionately called Claudia Grams. She loved both Byron and Duncan very much and spent a lot of time finding ways to spoil them.
Claudia is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Myrle; and her husband Paul; her son Paul; grandson Byron Chew.
Survivers include Steffanie Chew and husband Barry of Amarillo; sister Shirley Stewart of Tulsa. Oklahoma; Daughter in law Beck Dick of Yukon, Oklahoma; grandson Duncan Chew and wife Kinsey of Stinnett; and Bogey her pet Beagle.
The family wishes to acknowledge and thank her extended family of friends and caregivers at Right At Home for the love, care, and compassion shown to Claudia while in their care.
