Crystal, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2026, at the age of 41.

Born on April 28, 1985, in Oakdale, California, Crystal eventually found her way to Amarillo, Texas, where she resided, built her home, and truly made her life. Crystal lived a life full of passion, energy, and an unyielding love for the people around her. She embraced life's beautiful moments with open arms. Whether she was expressing her creativity through modeling, turning up the volume on her favorite music, or catching the wind on a motorcycle, she brought infectious energy wherever she went.

Above all else, Crystal's heart belonged to her family and her dogs. Her happiest moments were spent surrounded by the people she loved-whether splashing around during family pool time or laughing together at backyard cookouts. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a beautiful sportsmanship for family teasing; her family always affectionately joked and called her "Mudd Duck" and "Midget." In recent times, Crystal also found a deep, grounding comfort in her faith family

Crystal's legacy of love lives on through her devoted family. her father Rick, her mother Cynthia alongside her stepfather, Mark; her husband John; her children, Daren and wife Ashley, Domenic and Daylin; her grandchild, Elara who brought her immense joy, her siblings, Ricky, Rachelle and husband Richard, Christina, Jennifer, and Jacob; and her extended family, a large, loving circle of many nieces and nephews, as well as one great-niece and two great-nephews, all of whom she adored.

She was reunited in heaven with her grandparents,  L.J. "Pappy" and Betty Marrell, and Kenneth and Louann Marchant; her step-mother: Lesa Marrell; and her cousin, Sabrina Marchant.

A Legacy of Joy

Crystal will be remembered for her fierce love, her radiant smile, and the warmth she brought to every family gathering. While her absence leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who knew her, her family takes comfort in knowing she is at peace, wrapped in her faith, and that her spirit will live on in every song played, every pool day shared, and every memory held close.

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.... He restoreth my soul."
