Dickie "Dick" Dee Fellers, 85, of Amarillo, passed peacefully on November 14, 2025.
Viewing will be on Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 2pm to 5pm at Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia; with the family receiving guests from 2pm to 3pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025, at 10am in the funeral home's Brentwood Chapel. A graveside service will take place at 2pm the same day at West Park Cemetery in Hereford, Texas.
Dick was born March 12, 1940, in Hereford, Texas to Buford and Byrdie Scheihagen Fellers. Dick grew up in Hereford farming with his grandparents; and graduated from Hereford High School in May of 1958. That summer he met Pam. On December 23, 1958, they married in Hereford, Texas. In December of 2025 they would have celebrated 68 years of marriage. Dick attended Texas Tech in January of 1959 for an engineering degree. Dick farmed all his life but he spent 40 years of it doing it on his own with his wife Pam and two sons Randy and Will.
Dick served on several boards across the Texas Panhandle. He retired from farming in 2008 but continued to still work welding for different construction companies across Amarillo. Even being retired he still needed something to take apart and put back together. He had a love for learning new things and how they worked. He also loved sharing and teaching that same knowledge to his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. Family get togethers were the best as he would tell all his stories of growing up and raising his kids while playing a game of dominos at the dining table.
Dick is preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents who raised him, Roswell and Lura Idell Scheihagen, daughter, Jennifer Fellers, grandson, Klint Fellers, and brother, Don Fellers. Those left to cherish his memories are his beloved bride, Pamila “Pam” Fellers of the home, sons, Randy Fellers and wife Karla, and Will Fellers, granddaughters, Amanda Milam and husband Wayne, Krystal Milum and husband Ronnie, and Keely Fellers; and four great-grandchildren, Kole and Gabe Milam, and Oliver and Klinton Milum. Dick also leaves behind four nieces, Vonda Smith and husband Kirk, Valisa Chambers and husband Rusty, Charmy Shrode and husband Danny, and Kimberly Knipe and husband Shannon; as well as many extended family and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider making a donation to Mission Arlington, or a charity of your choice in honor of Dick D. Fellers.
