Donald Ray Fox

Donald Ray Fox, age 90 of Amarillo, joined his beloved Pat in heaven on May 16, 2025.

A memorial service will be at Westminster Presbyterian Church on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.

Donald was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, on September 12, 1934, to M.W. “Dub” and Irene Fox. He was raised in Amarillo, where he married his best friend, Patsy Patrick, on August 22, 1953.

After serving four years in the U.S. Navy, he was employed by Diamond Shamrock for 36 years, retiring in 1996. He was an Elder at Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Donald was the epitome of a gentleman; devoted to God and his family. He loved wholeheartedly and was so very proud of his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his son, Ron, and wife, Martha, of Arlington; a daughter, Diane, and husband, Michael; four grandchildren, Cassidy, Sarah, Cameron, and Christopher; and one great-grandson, Landon.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother Edwin “PeeWee” Fox; his sister Estelle Valle; and his beloved wife Patsy on November 18, 2024
