Edward Kenneth Dietrich

Mr. Dietrich was born September 26, 1930 in Ogallalla, Nebraska, to Merle A. and Elsie Dietrich. He entered into the U.S. Air Force in Omaha, NE on February 13, 1951 and was discharged on February 12, 1955 at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois, attaining the rank of Staff Sgt.
Ed married Celia Ann Kriegshauser on February 7, 1959 in University City, Missouri. He and his wife have lived in Amarillo since 1972.
Mr. Dietrich was a sales manager at State Chemical, and was head custodian with AISD Elementary school system until retirement. He was a founding family member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and an active member in the Masonic Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister and brother-in-law Ila and Lloyd Tiensvold; and two grandsons, Christopher Blain Dietrich and Kory Lane Dietrich.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Dietrich of the home; one daughter, Cynthia King of Amarillo, TX; one son Kevin Dietrich and wife Kenda of Corpus Christi, TX; and one sister, Cora Lee Stout and husband Tom of Laguna Hills, CA; one granddaughter Hailey Dietrich of Orlando Florida; and one grandson Aaron King of Amarillo, TX. Ed is also survived by many loving friends and all of his extended family.
