Elizabeth Ann Harbin, age 86 of Amarillo, was welcomed at the gates of Heaven on January 16, 2026, where she was joyfully reunited with her beloved daughter, Leslie, and her twin sister, Eloise.
The family will receive friends for an all-day viewing and visitation on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Elizabeth was born on May 19, 1939, in Memphis, Texas, alongside her twin sister, Eloise, to her parents, John Jack and Lucille Bourland Williams.
Elizabeth could best be described as the strong, silent type. She lived a quiet and peaceful life, yet she was never afraid to speak her mind. She knew what she wanted and how she wanted things done, and she made her wishes known with confidence and grace.
She raised her two children, Charles and Leslie, to know right from wrong, instilling strong values, respect, and integrity. Elizabeth was a firm disciplinarian, but she loved her family fiercely and devoted herself fully to them.
Elizabeth worked at Pantex for over twenty years before retiring, and she took great pride in her career and the friendships she built there.
She was preceded in death by her parents; half-sister Leota Browder; her daughter Leslie Marie Frey; and by her twin sister Eloise Jean Craven.
Elizabeth is survived by her son, Charles “Chuck” Vinson; a son-in-law, Jody Frey; grandchildren, Danielle Massey, Brett Frey. Mendy Frey, Brandon Ray and Ray Vinson.
