George L. James

George was born November 4, 1930 in Waco, Texas to Floyd and Clara James. He worked for Borden’s for 47 years. He loved his family dearly and was a very fair but firm man. He also loved his dog, Rufus. George was a Cowboys fan and loved camping, playing pool and eating Mexican food.

George was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joyce James; daughter, Lindia Benningfield; and several of his siblings.

George is survived by his children; Leah Guard, Wyatt James, Stacey McClain and Wade James; sister, Florene Nutt; sister-in-law, Robbie Hill; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
