Janet Mae Ambs, 87, of Amarillo, passed peacefully on August 20, 2026.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, from 1 pm to 6 pm at Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. A liturgical funeral service will take place on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 10 am at St Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 4100 S. Coulter St in Amarillo with Reverend John Valdez presiding. Entombment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery Mausoleum.
