Janice Oneal

Janice Oneal, 71, of Amarillo died November 17, 2020.

Memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.

Janice was born October 12, 1949 in Pampa to Guy Wesley James and Billie Phiel. She married Mike Oneal in 1984 and worked as a child care provider for many years. Janice loved children and was always very patient. She volunteered at Lea Regional Hospital in Hobbs wearing many hats including, treasurer. She was awarded “Pink Lady of the Year” in 2016. She enjoyed her family and always had a smile or a kind word for all she was around. Her encouraging heart was an exceptional listener.

Janice is survived by her husband, Mike Oneal; children, Jeremy Smith, Jami Mount, Monty Oneal, Kyle Oneal and Trent Oneal; grandchildren, Maggie Oneal, Journey Smith, Jericha Portwood, Holiday Roberts, Jaden Oneal, Jaxton Oneal, Sean Oneal and Paige Oneal; great-grandchildren, Kyler Oneal, Kameron Oneal, Layne Portwood, Sylas Portwood, Sailor Roberts and Wrenland Roberts; and many other family members and loved ones.
