Jesus Fuentes

Jesus Fuentes, 61, of Amarillo, TX, passed away on May 12th, 2020 after a long fought battle with COVID-19.

Jesus was born on April 6th, 1959 to Hilarion and Petra in Guanajuato, Mexico.

In 1977, he met Maria, and they wed in June 30th, 1984. Jesus and Maria went on to have six children, Francisco, Jose, Louis, Andrew, David, and Emanuel.

Jesus migrated to the United states with his wife in 1984. Spending time in Los Angeles as a carpenter and later settling down in Amarillo, Texas as a production operator.

After a hard weeks of work, Jesus spent his time watching soccer games, doing home renovations, gathering the family around for “Torta Sunday,” and loving his three beautiful grandchildren.

Jesus was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Maria Fuentes; his seven siblings Fausta, Ramon, Vicente, Sara, Pedro, Eva, Martin; and his six children.
