JoAnn Kellison

JoAnn Morton Kellison, 92, died June 1, 2025.

She was born in Wellington, TX to Floyd and Rudean Morton. JoAnn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She graduated from high school in Wellington, TX at the age of 16 and then attended secretarial school in Amarillo. She worked at the Collingsworth County Courthouse in Wellington until her marriage to Harold Junior Kellison in February 1951. Together they had 4 children. JoAnn loved to embroider and crochet. She crocheted innumerable dolls and animals for her grandchildren to their delight.

She is preceded in death by her 3 sons, Kelly Don, Ricky Lynn and Floyd Wesley Kellison and by her husband Harold Junior Kellison. JoAnn is survived by her daughter Linda Curry, grandchildren Meredith Avila, Andrea Mandal, Spencer Curry, Jeffrey Kellison, Jennifer Kellison, Jordan Kellison, Celeste Wheeler, Josh Kellison; and her beloved 13 great grandchildren.
