Joseph Robert Baker, 60, of Claude died June 26, 2021.

Military honors will be at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Memorial reception will follow at Washburn Community Center, 201 Duncan Ave in Claude. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.

Joseph proudly served in the United States Air Force for over 20 years as a helicopter mechanic. He was an avid R/C boater and loved motorcycles, race cars, and his dog Taz.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Olivia Fennell Baker; father, John Robert Baker; and brothers, Jerry Baker and John Baker.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Linda Ann Baker of Washburn, TX; sister, Sharon Baker of Dallas, TX; brothers, Anthony Baker and wife TJ Baker of Amarillo, TX, and David Baker and wife Traci of Amarillo, TX; children, Joe Don (J.D.) Baker and wife Chris and 3 children of Lubbock, TX; Jason Baker and 1 child of Lubbock TX; and Jeffery Baker and wife Abby and 3 children of Lubbock, TX; stepchildren, Jamie Reyes and husband Andy and 1 child of Washburn, TX and Leigh Felder and husband C.J. and 2 children of Claude, TX.
