Julie Beckham Firestone passed away peacefully In Amarillo, Texas on November 16, 2020.

She was born in Pampa, Texas on April 13, 1931 and was the daughter of Herman T. Beckham and Nellie Cox Beckham. She is survived by her son, Theodore L. White and his wife, Lolly of Folsom, Louisiana. She is predeceased in death by her parents and her brothers and sisters, Herma Ogle (Howard), Edith Whelan (Clarence), Harold Beckham (Lela Pearl), Freddie Nell Bills (Bill) , Doyle Beckham (Peggy) and George Beckham (Elaine). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children who will miss her and fondly remember her.

Julie moved from Pampa at an early age and was blessed to be able to travel the world and enjoy many new and interesting experiences before finding her way back home to Texas in later life.  She loved music and dancing and was happiest when the family came together to celebrate a major holiday or special birthday.

A private memorial service will be held at Christ Church Covington in Covington, Louisiana. Her family would especially like to thank Dalia Edwards for her constant companionship and loving care.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Downtown Women’s Center in Amarillo in Julie’s name.
