Kaden Mathias
Arenas
Apr 28, 2003 — Aug 12, 2026
Canyon, Texas
Kaden Mathias Arenas, 23, of Amarillo, Texas, was unexpectedly taken from this life on August 12, 2026. Though his time on earth was far too short, the love he gave, lives he touched, and memories he created will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Kaden was born on April 28, 2003, in Amarillo, Texas. From the beginning, there was something special about him; his mama called him her Angel Baby. He was naturally athletic, fearless, and full of life. He lettered in football, track, and baseball at Randall High School, graduating in 2021.
Kaden attended Hillside Christian Church and Power Church and loved Jesus. His faith was an important part of who he was; the foundation he carried with him throughout his life, no matter the challenge.
Kaden lived life with a bold, adventurous spirit. He was a survivor; strong, determined, and never afraid to experience life to the fullest. He loved sports, motorcycles, MMA, the mountains, snowboarding, and the simple beauty of watching a sunset. His smile could light up a room and his presence always drew people toward him. But beneath that fearless exterior was an incredibly tender and caring heart. He loved hard!
Kaden was the bridge that connected his loved ones. He had a special gift for bringing people together, creating connections, and reminding everyone of just how much they belonged to one another. He had a way of making people feel loved simply by being there. The friendships he built were genuine and lasting, and the people he loved became part of his family.
Kaden is his mama’s everything, his dad’s pride and joy, and simply the best little-big brother his siblings could have asked for; his love for them was something words could never fully describe. The unconditional love and bond he shared with them is treasured deeply. His bonus parents consider raising Kaden to be one of the greatest blessings of their lives. Kaden shared an especially close bond with his best friend and cousin Ry and loved his “boys” beyond measure.
Twenty-three years could never be enough for a life as bright and full of promise as Kaden’s. Though his time here was far too short, Kaden will forever remain a bridge between the people he loved. He is the best son, Bubs, Big Bubba, grandson, nephew, uncle, cousin, friend, and a piece of the heart of his family.
Kaden was proceeded in death by his grandfather, “Popeye” Jimmy Albracht.
Kaden is survived by his parents, Brian and Ashley Pena, Deon and Heather Arenas; his sisters Krissy Warren and husband Trent, Alexis, Olivia, and Natalie Arenas; and his brothers, Jon-David Barboza, and Jaxen, Jace and Jonas Pena; his grandparents, Julie Albracht, Emilio and Delores Arenas, Ronnie and Christine Pena, Oscar and Sophia Ramirez, Kathy Cole, and Nellie Ramos; his great grandparents Linda Soria and Emilio Arenas Sr.; his aunts and uncles, Ronnie and Cortney Pena, Justin and Theresa Winningham, Chris and Jennifer Mills, Chris Ramirez, Josh and Sandra Ramirez, and Matt and Bliss Green; his nephews, Milo, Sage and Harley Warren; his niece Vivienne Hernandez; along with many more cousins, great aunts and uncles, family, and friends.
