Graveside services will be held on Monday February 7, 2022, at 1:00 PM in the Pantheon Mausoleum Chapel of Llano Cemetery. Chase Clark, Linda’s grandson will officiate the service. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.
Linda was born February 19, 1943, in Amarillo to her parents Ted and Velma Icy Gast Arnold. She was a tomboy growing up and was thankful she never had a daughter; she adored her boys and was a terrific mother.
Linda was a multifaceted individual, living her life to the fullest and loving her family fiercely. It's hard to know where to start with Linda, perhaps her sense of humor and smile. She was a jokester her entire life, quick witted and fun loving until the very end. It was her mission to bring a smile to everyone's face...even if the joke was on you!
We can't speak about Linda without mentioning her artistic abilities. She was an amazing artist and her paintings and artwork adorn not only her walls but the walls of many of her family and friends.
Linda had many loves in her life, she loved to travel and although she didn’t get to see all the places, she dreamed of seeing, there is no doubt she is enjoying all the beautiful scenery from above. She loved animals; some would argue she loved them more than some people. She often put their welfare above her own. Perhaps her greatest love was that of her children and grandchildren. She cherished every minute she was able to spend with them. From a young age, raising her two boys to watching them become successful men and start families of their own, her sons were her greatest achievement and they and their families her greatest love.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Velma “Icy” Panick and by her father, Ted Arnold.
Linda is survived by her son, Mark Clark and his wife Beverly of Ft. Worth, Texas and their children Sara, Carson and Lucus; and by her other son Randy Clark and his wife Gloria of Ocala, Florida and his children Chase Clark and his wife Sydney with their children Benjamin, Bowen, Gracelyn and Viviann of Amarillo, Texas and Calissa Kimberling and her husband Darius and their son, Carson of Amarillo; and by Bill Prescott Linda’s longtime friend and companion.
