Linda F Rea of Amarillo was a god-fearing woman who went to be with her lord on June 6, 2023.
The family will host a celebration of life at a later date.
Linda was born in Childress and raised in Amarillo. Linda, aka Nana, loved fiercely. She spread her love to everyone in her life in a way that made each person feel like they were her special person. She made it her mission to express this love every day.
She loved to paint, camp, ski, boat, craft, and recreate old things into new beautiful creations. Her dogs were her children. She spent 25 years crafting young minds and giving back. There wasn't a small person whose world she didn't light up when she was around. Linda had a phenomenal group of friends and was always a phone call away for anyone that needed her.
Linda raised two boys, Richard and Brad. She raised them with a full heart and a go-get’em attitude. She equipped them with the tools and knowledge of life. They were her whole world. Not only was she a mom to them, but to each of their friends. Linda hosted Thanksgiving for all the kids in college who didn't have a place to go. At each and every gathering, she always made sure everyone was served and taken care of first. Her door was open to anyone who needed her. Linda was the oldest of her seven siblings and often talked about them.
