Mary Janette "Billie" Hagan (Radkovic), the beloved matriarch of a vast and vibrant family, passed away on March 20, 2026. A woman of profound grace and steady conviction, Billie’s life was defined by two great pillars: her unwavering faith and her boundless love for her family.
Billie's life will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the Schooler Funeral Home's Brentwood Chapel with Reverend Greg Corona of Hillside Christian Church West Campus presiding.
Billie is now reunited with her soulmate and late husband, Thomas Hagan, who passed away in 2012, as well as their infant daughter, Theresa Rose. Their marriage was more than a partnership; it was the bedrock upon which their entire family was built. For decades, their love provided a sense of security and belonging for their children, and it remains the standard of devotion for the generations that followed.
For Billie, there was no greater joy than being surrounded by "her people." She was the nucleus of the family, finding her deepest fulfillment in the presence of those she loved.
She is survived by her eight children: John (Cathy) Hagan, Joe (Tammy Lee) Hagan, Dan (Stephanie) Hagan, Ellen (Bryan) Sanguinet, Jenny (David) Nobles, Sandy Idland, Katie (Bill) Veverka, and Bill Hagan.
Her legacy further lives on through her 25 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, all of whom were touched by her fiery spirit and love.
Billie’s faith was not just a practice, but a way of being. She walked through life with a prayer in her heart and a deep trust in God. Her family takes great comfort in knowing she has found her eternal rest, having lived a life that was a true reflection of her faith.
