Mary Evelyn Sain, age 91, entered the gates of Heaven on July 25, 2026, where her faith became sight as she was welcomed into the presence of her Lord and reunited with loved ones who had gone before her.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia, prior to the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mary was born on February 26, 1935, in Carthage, Missouri, to her parents, Guy Silas and Grace Hall Rhoads. She graduated from Midland High School and, on February 6, 1954, married the love of her life, Donald Paul Sain. Their marriage marked the beginning of a beautiful adventure that spanned the next fifty years until Donald's death in 2004. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and creating cherished memories.

For more than 29 years, Mary enjoyed a successful career as an independent representative with Home Interiors, where her dedication and outgoing personality earned her numerous top sales awards. In their younger years, she and Don embraced adventure, traveling across the United States together on their Harley-Davidson motorcycle, making memories that she treasured throughout her life.

Above all else, Mary was a woman of unwavering faith. She was a true prayer warrior who set the standard for trusting God in every circumstance. Her quiet confidence, peaceful spirit, and joyful outlook came from her unwavering belief that God held both her and her family securely in the palm of His hand. She faced life's challenges with remarkable strength, remained positive through every season, and found gratitude in life's simplest blessings. Her life was a beautiful testimony of what it means to walk by faith and not by sight.

Mary faithfully served the Lord by teaching Sunday school, serving as a Bible coach, and volunteering with Faith City Mission. Her faith was not only something she professed—it was evident in the way she lived each day.

Her greatest joy was her family. Some of Mary's favorite moments were the simple ones spent with her daughters, laughing together, sharing stories, and reminiscing about the wonderful memories they had made over the years.

Mary also enjoyed many hobbies that reflected her creative spirit and curious mind. She loved crocheting, embroidery, working puzzles, scrapbooking, and reading. She even had a fondness for reality television, which often provided plenty of entertainment. And while her family might have playfully debated the point, Mary herself was convinced she possessed a fabulous sense of humor—a confidence that brought smiles to everyone who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Dorothy Sain; a son, Kenneth Don Sain; and by her husband, Don Sain.

Mary is survived by her three daughters, Cindy Daniels and husband Dennis, Sharon Daniels and husband Johnnie all of Amarillo, and Lori Watson of Yukon, OK; her eleven grandchildren: twenty seven great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
