Nancy Ann Dintinger

January 28, 1954 — November 3, 2025

Amarillo

Nancy A. Dintinger was born on January 28, 1954, in Alton, Illinois, to her parents, Orville Jr. and Ilein B. Miller.

She married the love of her life, James, on May 29, 1976, in Newton, Pennsylvania. In the late 1970s, Nancy and Jim made Amarillo their home, where they built a life rooted in family, faith, and love with their beautiful daughters Laura Ann and Jamie Patricia.

Nancy worked in the medical field at BSA for more than a decade, where her caring nature and compassion for others were evident to all who knew her. Yet her greatest calling and deepest joy was always her family. She placed them first in everything she did. Throughout both her daughter’s lives, Nancy was a constant and devoted presence—supporting  their involvement in Camp Fire, PTA, and tennis, and never missing an opportunity to encourage and cheer them on.

Nancy believed in making life’s moments meaningful. She lovingly established cherished family traditions for Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, and every birthday, always wanting special occasions to feel truly special. She treasured time spent together, whether on family vacations to Angel Fire or enjoying shopping trips with her beloved “girls.” Thoughtful, caring, and deeply loving, Nancy was truly the glue that held her family together. She loved fiercely and wholeheartedly, never missing a family gathering or moment that mattered. She was a beautiful soul, and to those who knew her best, she was the very best wife, mother, and grandmother—proudly known as “Nanny.”

Jim and Laura would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all friends and family for their love and support over the past thirty years, as well as to the many doctors and nursing staff at BSA whose care and compassion meant so much to Nancy and her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Jaime P. Billiodeaux.

Nancy is survived by her beloved husband, Jim; her daughter Laura Davis and husband Shane; her brother, Steve Miller and wife Janet; and by her precious grandchildren, Tyler, Luke, Ella, Lilly, Evie Claire and Adeline.
