Patricio S. Galvan, 84, of Amarillo, passed peacefully in his home on September 3, 2024.
The family will receive guests on Thursday, September 5, 2024, from 4 pm to 6 pm, with Rosary beginning at 6 pm, in the Schooler Funeral Home's Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 10 am, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1210 SE 11th St, with Father Taylor Elzner presiding. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery East.
Patricio Galvan was born on March 17, 1940. He was born and raised in Juarez, Mexico. After moving to the US, Pat would live in various places throughout California, Nebraska and Texas. He married his wife Rosemary on January 26, 1979 in Clovis, New Mexico. They shared 44 years of marriage, two sons, and many memories together in Amarillo, TX.
Pat never missed a moment to spend with family. He enjoyed watching baseball, specifically his Dodgers and Astros. He loved to remind you of his favorite players such as Valenzuela and Altuve. Never missed a Mexican Boxing legend match, win or lose he was committed to his Team. That would also transition to the way he was committed to his family. Pat always took care of his wife, children, and grandchildren with great pride. He worked for Tyson foods for 25 years. He had a genuine heart and was always willing to help anyone in need. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Rosemary Levario Galvan.
Patricio's legacy is carried on by his 16 sons, and his 4 daughters. As well as many grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
