Paul J. Parise

Mr. Parise was born January 2, 1916 in Chicago, Illinois to John and Rose Parise. He was in the Army and served as a Staff Sergeant in WWII and in Okinawa. He married Doris Oyston on June 25, 1939 in Chicago. They moved to Amarillo in 2001 from Chicago. Mr. Parise was active at St. Monticas in Chicago, and was also a member of Italian Club Federation. He was active in John V. Beulick Post 984 of Lincolnwood, Il and VFW Skokie Valley Post #3854, Skokie, Illinois. He retired from Bell & Howell of Chicago after 43 years of employment. He was a member of St. Thomas Men’s Club in Amarillo.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Doris on June 18, 2007, his parents, and his son John P. Parise in 2000.
He is survived by his son, Paul Parise, Jr. and wife Linda of Amarillo; a daughter-in-law Carole Miller and husband David of Crystal Lake, IL; three grandsons, Christopher Parise and wife Kim, Marc Parise and Anthony Parise, and two great-grandsons, Chase and Carter Parise.
