Peggy was born in Amarillo on August 26, 1954 to her parents Ozell Lee and Emma Jean Watson Clark.  On October 6, 1972 she married the love of her life, Eddie Ray Schaef and went on to graduate from Palo Duro High School in 1973.

Peggy’s love language was service.  She was a caregiver and she doted on her family and friends alike.  No one ever left her home hungry or feeling unloved.  She made everyone feel welcome and important.

She enjoyed traveling, camping and fishing.  Most recently they had visited Mt. Rushmore and Little Big Horn.  Peggy loved to garden and she grew whatever she told Eddie to plant!

Peggy was the epitome of a lady, wife and mother.  Her family was proud of her and she cherished each and every one of them.  Eddie states, anybody would have been lucky to have her as a wife, but I was the luckiest, that she choose me.  Peggy treasured each of her relationships, whether you knew her as Grannie, GiGi, or Mom you knew you were loved completely by her.   She will be deeply missed by all that loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and five siblings, Ozell Clark Jr, Sandra Stovall, Sue Schaef, Danny Clark and Ricky Clark.

She is survived by her loving husband , Eddie; her three daughters, Jennifer Voight and husband Jeremy of Elkhorn, Nebraska, Bonita Volden and her husband David and Melissa Baucom and her partner, Courtney Coppock all of Amarillo; her three sisters, Rhonda Hogue, Anita Mohler and Kathy Jones and her husband Billy all of Amarillo; her brother, Bobby Clark and his wife Becky of Amarillo; her thirteen grandchildren, Regis, Bailey, Skylar, Logan, Coby, Dreamer, Mason, Emmalee, Samuel, Madison, Abigail, Andrew, Allison; her nine great grandchildren, Hunter, Luna, Aria, Dawson, Auggie, Everett, Jeweley, Ashlynn and Kennedy; and many others that she claimed.
