Ralph G. Martinez, 72, of Amarillo, died Friday, November 24, 2017.
Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 1200 S. Washington St. Burial will follow at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S Georgia.
Ralph was born on December 1, 1944 in Tucumcari, NM to Bennie and Bernarda Martinez. Ralph worked as a successful cement contractor for many years. Ralph lit up a room and always went the extra mile to help everyone. He will be greatly missed and remembered by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Martin Martinez; one sister, Rosa M. Wilson and a son, Arthur Lynn.
Ralph is survived by his loving daughter Monecia Young and husband Kenneth of Dallas; three sisters, Emilia Hernandez and husband Tony, Antonia Ramirez and husband Edmundo and Mary Lou Rodriguez; one brother, Johnny Martinez and wife Mary; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and many other family members.
