Mr. Diaz was born May 9, 1969, in Plainview to Raul Heriberto Diaz Sr. and Dora Helena Ponder Diaz. After graduation from Lewisville High School, he enlisted in the Marine Corps. After completing service to his country, he graduated from cosmetology school and worked as a hairdresser.
Survivors include his father, Raul Heriberto Diaz Sr. of Washington; his mother, Dora Helena Ponder Diaz of Amarillo; two sisters, Jennifer Moore and Vanessa Maples; and many other loving family members and friends.
