Romualdo Gonzalez

Romualdo Gonzalez age 65 formally of Waco, died February 9, 2022 in Amarillo surrounded by his children.

Public viewing will be on Sunday, February 13, 2022 from 12PM until 8:00 PM with a Rosary being said at 6:00 PM at Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel.  A funeral mass will be held on Monday, February 14 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Celebrant will be Rev. Hector Madrigal. Interment will follow at Llano Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.

Romualdo was born in Mexico to his parents, Roman Gonzalez and Isaura Leal.  He came to the United States in 1987.  He worked as a truck driver and enjoyed working on cars as he was an excellent mechanic.  Romualdo was an avid soccer fan and also followed wrestling.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by four brothers, Bernardino, Erasmo, Cristino and Melquisidet.

He is survived by his two daughters, Mary Gonzalez and Lili Gonzalez and her husband, Eric Rivas; his two sons, Nazario Gonzalez and his wife Liliana and Jorge Gonzalez and his wife Julia; his sister, Caritina Gonzalez; his brother Esteban  Gonzalez and his wife Ma De Jesus; and five grandchildren, Aldo, Alexis, Sebastien, Lorna and Gianni.
