Ronnie Thomas Bell, 85, of Amarillo, passed peacefully in his home on the morning of July 27, 2026.

Per Ronnie’s wishes, no services will be held.

Ronnie was born on May 4, 1941, to Thuston “JE” and Eva Lena Bell. He left high school early on to join his father in the construction business. They took over an already established business building homes along the Eastern portion of the Texas Panhandle. Their tireless efforts and dedication to their craft led to more and more people hearing about them through word of mouth, which in turn led to an increase in business.

Ronnie married the love of his life, Ms. Linda Topper, on August 21, 1973, in Amarillo, Texas. Together they shared 52 wonderful years of marriage in which they built a life of complete faithfulness and devotion to each other. Ronnie enjoyed collecting older clocks, as well as “antiquing” from shops and garage sales. He would find small treasures that were in need of a little attention and restore them to their former glory. Ronnie was a simple man who enjoyed simple things.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents, JE and Eva Lena, and a sister, Rosa Wilson. Those left to cherish his memories are his beloved bride, Linda, and extended family and friends.
