Rosa "Rosie" Maria Ramonez

Rosa Maria Ramonez “Rosie”, 41, of Amarillo returned to her Heavenly Father on December 12, 2020.

Private funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 26, 2020 at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church. Please visit www.sthyacinthamarillo.org to view the livestream. Inurnment will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.

Rosie was born in Amarillo to Juan Manuel Ramonez and Alicia Dorado Ramonez. She graduated from Amarillo College with an Associate Degree in Graphic Design. At the time of her death, she was an administrative assistant to the CFO at Affiliated Foods. Rosie shared the passion of reading and learning with her mother. Rosie’s love of photography lead her to a love of genealogy. She was always willing to help anyone who needed assistance. Research of the Ramonez family tree took her and her father on a memorable trip to the Basilica of San Juan Del Valle. Rosie’s tireless work on the family reunion in 2018 left us with wonderful memories of our family history around Francisca Dorado.

She loved to travel with her son, Joseph who was her north start, her constant, when life was tough. She also enjoyed travelling with her sister, Sofie, her parents, cousins, aunts and uncles leaving them with many memories. She was a beloved mother, sister, daughter and friend. Rosie will be dearly missed, may she rest in peace.

She is preceded in death by brother, Michael A. Juarez; and her beloved grandparents.

Rosie is survived by her son, Joseph Fragoso; father, Juan Manuel Ramonez; sisters, Sofia Ramonez and Christina Ramonez; brothers, Jesse Ramonez and Juan Ramonez, II; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; lifelong bestfriends, Serina Smyrl and Ima Jean Shaw; and her beloved rescue pets, Leo Bella and Ginger.
