Sister Los Angelos Camila Ortiz

Sister Los Angeles was born on July 18, 1932 in Mexico. She passed away on January 27, 2022. Sister Los Angeles had been an American Citizen for 38 years. She had lived in the Capuchin Monastery in Amarillo for most of those years.

Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. Friday February 4, 2022 at St. Lucian’s Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 A.M. Saturday February 5, 2022 at Lucian’s Chapel with Bishop Patrick J. Zurek. Burial to follow at Llano Cemetery.

She is proceeded in death by her father, Lorenzo Ortiz and mother Maria De Los Angeles Ortiz; five brothers and seven sisters.

Sister Los Angeles is survived by three sisters, Paula, Virginia and Sylvia; two brothers, Gil and Jesus. She is also survived by her family in the Capuchin sisters.
