Sylvia A. Dobbins

Sylvia was born in Tahachipi, California to Bonny Albert and Mary Victoria Miller. 

Sylvia has two children. A son, Richard Alan Magnano and a daughter, Melissa Ann Turley. Sylvia has a granddaughter, Gwinivere Turley, two grandsons, Jacob Magnano and Brandon Magnano. She has four great grandchildren. Apollo, Onyx, and Abraham born to Jacob and Ashley Magnano. Shiloh born to Brandon and Madi Magnano. She loved her family more than life itself and would do anything for them. 

Sylvia loved singing, especially the old gospels. She also loved praise and worship. She was the song leader in her church and was always going to sing alongs around the area. 

Sylvia loved her job as a nutritionist for the schools in Whitesboro, Texas. She was an advocate for free lunches for children. She even paid various lunch debts so the children could eat a hot meal. 

She also worked as a home health associate helping those that were on Hospice. She became very attached to her patients. She was always ready to help wherever she was needed.

Sylvia is survived by one sister, Cathy Miller Coulson, her husband, Marvin Dobbins, a son and daughter, three grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

The family will be honoring and celebrating Sylvia in a private memorial service.
