Thomas Randolph Webb (Tom), 86, of Amarillo, passed peacefully on the night of September 17, 2026.

Visitation hours will take place on Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 1 pm to 7 pm at Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia. A celebration of Tom’s life will take place in the funeral home’s Brentwood Chapel at 2 pm on Friday, September 25, 2026. Burial will be private.

Tom was born on May 18, 1940, in San Angelo, Texas to William F. and Olga (Martin) Webb.

Tom was a hard-working and dedicated employee all his life. He was the manager of Yates Flooring until his passing. Tom loved working and loved his job. To him it wasn’t a job, but a passion. Tom would arrive early every day and would always go check on the store, even if it was closed, no matter what the weather. He never really worked a day in his life because he loved what he did.

Tom enjoyed a variety of sports in his down time. He was an avid golfer and spent many days on the fairways trying to one up his previous scores. Tom watched football for the purity of the sport, not to root for one team in particular. However, he did pay closer attention to the Kansas City Chiefs. The love of sports also trickled into NASCAR. The thrill of watching a tight, clean race would always bring a smile to Tom's face.

When he couldn’t be found at work or in front of the TV watching one of his favorite sports, you would more than likely find him at a casino. Tom loved to gamble, especially pulling the arm on the slot machines hoping to hit the jackpot.

But aside from all his hobbies and passion for work, one thing held true about Tom more than anything; and that was his love for helping his fellow man. Tom would help anybody in need. Rather it be a job, loaning a tool, a couple of bucks in your pocket just to get you by, or a firm handshake and a kind word, Tom would help anyone without expectation of anything in return.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Bill Webb, his beloved wife, Debbie Webb, and grandson, Ashton Owens-Capwell. Those left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Amy Owens, Katherine Wintling and husband Howard, Christine Messerli, Margaret Webb, and Vickie Burns and husband, Gary; as well as his three grandchildren, and numerous extended family members, coworkers, and friends.
