Thomas "Tommy" Oliver Budd

Thomas Oliver “Tommy” Budd, 70, of Amarillo, passed peacefully on September 17, 2024. 

A celebration of Tommy’s life will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 1 pm in the Schooler Funeral Home’s Brentwood Chapel with Pastor Guy Walker presiding. 

Tommy was born in Amarillo, Texas, on December 1953, to Dr. Robert G. and Pearldyne (Easterling) Budd. 

Tommy grew up loving all things Western, which ultimately led to his career path in the Western Wear industry as a lifelong customer service representative. He served in roles from sales to management. Tommy particularly enjoyed shaping Cowboy Hats and giving the customer the perfect fit and shape. 

Tommy was an avid sports fan and dedicated his time to his favorite teams, the Sooners of Oklahoma University, and The Dallas Cowboys. 

Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Robert G Budd Jr and Lloyd Gene Budd, and his former wife Beverly Budd who was still a very close friend and cared for Tommy during his illness. Those left to cherish his memories are his son Repp Budd and wife Erin and their children Bryce and Parker Budd, daughter Lisa Allen and her children Candice Wills, Devin Bushell, and Abigelle Allen; sister Joann Chappell and husband Fred, brother Cliff Budd and wife Brenda, as well as many extended family and dear friends.
