Tonya Lillian Neiman, 66, of Amarillo, passed away on June 13, 2026.
A graveside service led by family and friends to honor Tonya’s life will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 10am, at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 14200 Interstate 27 South.
Tonya was born on October 8, 1959, in Amarillo, Texas to Sonny and Jerry (Wolfe) Phillips. She received her General Education Degree and later a bachelor’s degree from Amarillo College. On December 19, 1975, Tonya married Howard Neiman. Together they began their life and built a business and family all at the same time.
Tonya loved to go fast. She enjoyed the thrill of fast cars on the road or track. She and Howard were the proud owners of Extreme Exhaust in Amarillo where she got to see many of her favorite cars on an almost weekly basis. But she loved nothing more than her family. Her son, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her biggest blessings.
Tonya is preceded in death by her parents, son, Asa, and sister, Fran. Those left to cherish her memories are her beloved husband, Howard, sister, Lola Barnes, brother, Terry Phillips; and granddaughter Adrienne Windham, and three great-grandchildren, as well as many extended family and friends.
