Vera Griffin

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel. The family invites you to stay for a reception immediately following the service.

Vera was born July 23, 1939, in Clovis to her parents, Charles Robert Sr. and Vonnie Fern Chandler Williams.

On January 1, 1960, she married her love, Clifford Griffin and the couple would begin a journey that would span over the next sixty-two years, until Clifford’s death on May 12, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Clifford.

Vera is survived by her daughter, Linda Freis and her husband Scott of Dallas; two grandchildren, Samantha Freis and Nicholas Freis; brothers, Charles Williams of Amarillo and Kenneth Williams of Raton; and several loving nieces and nephews.
