Wesley Howell Roberson

Wesley Howell Roberson, 67, of Amarillo, passed peacefully in his home on January 2, 2024.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024, at 2 p.m. in the Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel with Dr. Robby Barrett of First Baptist Church of Amarillo presiding. Interment will follow in Llano Cemetery.

Wesley was born on April 28, 1956, in Amarillo, Texas to Stephen Edward Sr and Mary Ruth (Ferguson) Roberson. He was a 1974 graduate of Amarillo High School, and earned his Bachelor Degree from West Texas A&M University in Canyon, majoring in Psychology and Geology. He later received his Master’s Degree in Environmental Science in August of 2020.

Wesley is preceded in death by Irvin and Lillian Ferguson, Lida and Milton Roberson, and his father Steve Roberson Sr. Those left to cherish his memories are his long-time girlfriend Jackie Knight, mother Mary Ruth Ferguson-Gunter, brother Steve Roberson Jr and wife Donna, Stephenie Roberson, Adrian and Colt Salas; and he was Pops to Smisson, Alex, and Josephine.
