Allen Lynn Sharber

Allen Lynn Sharber, 73, of Amarillo at home on January 19, 2022.

Visitation will be held in the Schooler Funeral Home at 4100 S. Georgia on Monday, January 24, 2022 from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral services will  be held in the funeral home’s Brentwood Chapel on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 2pm with Scott Davey officiating. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery.

Allen was born in Whitesboro, Texas on June 10, 1948 to Ollie and Leona (Duvak) Sharber. He was the youngest of three children. Allen enlisted and served faithfully in the United States Air Force from 1972 until his honorable discharge in 1980. Allen was married twice in his lifetime. He and his first wife Nancy Patricia Sharber were married for 27 years and had two children, Penny Juardo and Travis Sharber. Allen worked for the City of Amarillo for the better part of 16 years before retiring. Allen had a rough exterior, but a handsome, charitable, loving, kind and sweet heart.

Allen is preceded in death by his parents and brother Elvie Gene Sharber. Those left to cherish his memories are his children Penny and Travis and their spouses, sister Fay Shue, and grandson Blake Reyes; as well as many other loving family and dear friends.
