Andrew Deng, 5, of Amarillo went home to be with his Heavenly Father June 19, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Central Church of Christ, 1401 S. Monroe with Pastor Donnie Lane, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.

Andrew was born June 28, 2012 and attended preschool at First Presbyterian Church and kindergarten at Olsen Park Elementary and Citychurch was his church home. He was a sweet, happy boy who loved others and was always smiling. Although Andrew was only five years old, he made a lasting impression on all around him. He will be missed by all who knew him and by all the Sudanese Community as well as his Citychurch and Camp Hope family.

Because of their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, his mother, Angelina Deng, and his brother Daniel Deng, and his two sisters, Achok Bol and Akaeo Yom, of Amarillo, look forward to the day when they will see him again in Heaven.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to Citychurch, 205 S. Polk St. or The Downtown Women’s Center, 409 S. Monroe St.
