Barbara Ann (Scofield) White

Barbara Ann Scofield White was born February 15, 1939 in Heman, OK to Lloyd and Vivian Washburn Scofield. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 2, 2019. Barbara graduated from Amarillo High School in 1957. She worked in retail for Country Club Casuals, then Montgomery Wards until her retirement in 2001. She also cherished her time taking care of the babies in the nursery at her church home, Westcliff Bible Church. Barbara married Ivor Lynn White on December 20, 1968 in Amarillo, TX.

She was a devoted mother, grandma, and great grandma. Barbara loved holidays and gift giving. There was never a holiday overlooked, for they were opportunities to buy gifts for all of her angels. The pride she had for her family was indescribable. Barbara was an avid sports fan and loved her Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers. However, her favorite sporting events to attend were any that her children, grandchildren, or great grandchildren were playing in. She rarely missed a game through the generations and was the loudest and proudest fan.

Barbara is survived by two sons, Lloyd Finley and wife Sissy, Todd Finley and wife Sharol; one daughter, Vicki Finley, all of Amarillo; a brother, Rex Scofield and wife, Debbie, of San Angelo; grandchildren, Daniel Finley and wife, Dana, Tawney Shaltry and husband, Daniel, Taylor Finley, all of Amarillo, and Jordan Finley and wife, Meredith, of Dallas; great grandchildren, Hunter and Rylee Finley, Kade and Kolt Shaltry, Codi Finley, and baby Finley on the way; three nieces and their families, and her beloved furr-baby, Boomer.

The Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 5th, at 2pm, at Westcliff Bible Church, 5300 W. Amarillo Blvd, with Dr. Steven Waterhouse officiating.
