Bill G. Dunham, 92, of Borger died October 24, 2020.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 31, 2020 at New Life Church in Borger, TX.
Bill was born in Hutchinson, KS to L.F. Dunham & Dorothy (Light) Dunham on November 15, 1927. He moved to Lamar, CO in February of 1928 then moved to Borger in February of 1942 where he married Margaret Johnson on December 18, 1945. Margaret was the love of his life!
He began employment at Phillips Petroleum on February 28, 1948 and retired from there after 37 years. After retiring, he was active in community volunteering. He transported food from Amarillo to Borger Opportunity Center for over 12 years. He was an active member of Amarillo Area Agency on Aging for over 10 years. Bill was also an active member of Living Waters for nearly 10 years and was an associate member of the Republican Women. Bill was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He loved the Lord and so enjoyed being at church.
Bill is survived by his children, Mickey Dunham of Amarillo, Billy Dunham & wife, Karla of Borger, Steve Dunham & wife, Tammy of Borger; grandchildren, Abby Garrison & husband, John of Canyon, Chip Dunham & wife, Melissa of Amarillo, and Jason Dunham of Amarillo; great-grandchildren, Karlee Wilson, Caleb Dunham, Rylee Garrison, and Sadie Grace Dunham;
and great great-grandchildren, Haldley & Briar Wilson.
Bill was preceded in death by one son (who passed at birth), Leland Curtis Dunham; his parents; and one sister, Donna Alexander.
